Warranty obligations and solutions for a working facility

After installation and handover of the facility, the next stage begins: the space enters operation, materials face daily loads and weather, and the client and management team may have questions about specific elements.

CHEHARDA hands over the facility with the necessary documentation and warranty obligations — in accordance with the contract terms. During the warranty period, we consider inquiries regarding completed works and supplied elements. After the warranty expires, you can also contact us if you need to assess a situation, restore, replace, or refine the object.

We do not replace the management company and do not conduct constant monitoring of the playground. But we know the objects we created, the materials, and structural solutions — so we can help determine a reasonable next step.

Handing over the facility is not the end of responsibility

After installation, the space is handed over to the client along with the necessary documents and warranty obligations. But this does not mean that any question arising after opening is automatically left unanswered.

During the warranty period, the client can contact us with questions related to completed works or supplied elements. We review the inquiry, clarify the circumstances, and determine the procedure for further actions within the framework of the contract. After the warranty expires, you can also contact us if the object requires repair, restoration, replacement of an element, or design refinement. We do not take on the daily operation of the territory, but we can help navigate the situation and suggest a suitable format for further work.

Post-launch support is a clear point of contact for an already implemented object: during the warranty period and after it.

We help resolve issues regarding the facility

The scope of work depends on the nature of the inquiry, contract terms, and the condition of the facility, but may include:
  • Handing over warranty obligations and necessary documentation upon completion of works.
  • Recommendations for operation and care of specific materials or elements — if provided for in the project scope.
  • Reviewing inquiries during the warranty period.
  • Clarifying circumstances regarding an issue related to completed works or supplied elements.
  • Inspecting the facility if necessary and in an agreed format.
  • Determining whether the situation qualifies as a warranty case.
  • Organizing warranty work in accordance with contract terms.
  • Post-warranty consultation regarding repair, restoration, replacement, or refinement of the object.
  • Selecting a possible solution for replacing or restoring individual elements.
  • Preparing a separate proposal for additional works if the issue does not fall under warranty obligations.

A clear procedure

01. We hand over the facility and documents
After completion of works, the client receives a set of documents and warranty obligations provided for by the contract. Depending on the project scope, this may include product passports, material documents, declarations, certificates, as-built and accompanying documentation.
02. We receive an inquiry
If a question arises regarding the facility, the client sends the bureau a description of the situation, photographs, and data that will help understand which element or section is being discussed.
03. We clarify the circumstances
We study the inquiry, ask additional questions if necessary, request materials, or agree on a site inspection. Our task is to understand the actual situation and determine what actions might be required.
04. We determine the format of the solution
If the issue relates to a warranty case, we act within the framework of warranty obligations and contract terms. If the situation is not covered by the warranty or the warranty period has already ended, we suggest a possible next step: maintenance, restoration, replacement, repair, design refinement, or engaging a specialized specialist.
05. We agree on further actions
If work from CHEHARDA is required, we agree on a separate scope, deadlines, work composition, and cost. If the issue is outside our competence, we honestly advise which specialist or contractor is best to contact.

A quality object requires clear solutions

Even a well-designed and assembled space undergoes stress: seasons change, materials age naturally, the territory lives according to its own rhythm, elements require attention, and sometimes damage or new tasks arise.

It is important not to make decisions at random. A random material replacement, a non-original element, unsuitable fasteners, or an unapproved modification can change the appearance of the object, affect its safety, and shorten its service life.

Post-launch support helps to:

  • Understand whether the issue falls under warranty obligations.
  • Get recommendations for further actions.
  • Avoid changing parts and materials without understanding their role in the structure.
  • Preserve the integrity of the object during repair, restoration, or replacement of an element.
  • Assess whether a local solution or a separate refinement project is required.
  • Get a clear format of work if CHEHARDA’s participation is needed.
  • Find a specialized specialist if the issue is outside the bureau’s competence.

Not only for new objects

Post-launch support may be needed by:

  • Developers and management companies after handing over a new facility for operation.
  • City and municipal clients who need to clarify the procedure for an already operating playground.
  • Schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, and public spaces with intensive use.
  • Hotels, resorts, and country projects where the object is affected by climate, seasonality, and high loads during guest check-in periods.
  • Owners of existing CHEHARDA objects who need to replace, restore, or supplement individual elements.
  • Teams that need to assess the possibility of updating an object after the warranty period has ended.

This section relates primarily to objects created by CHEHARDA. For other spaces, we can consider the request separately and determine if we can be useful in a specific situation.

Clear boundaries of responsibility

Warranty obligations apply to implemented objects in accordance with the contract terms. The warranty covers completed works and supplied elements within the agreed timeframes, conditions, and scope of obligations.

Regular operation of the territory, cleaning, seasonal maintenance, servicing, actions by third parties, natural wear and tear, vandalism, and issues not related to the quality of completed works are not automatically covered by the warranty.

After the warranty period ends, CHEHARDA can join in post-warranty work: assessing the situation, repair, restoration, replacement of elements, updating materials, or design refinement of the space. Such work is not included in warranty obligations and is agreed upon separately — by scope, deadlines, and cost.

If the client requires regular audits, seasonal inspections, operation control, or a long-term territory development program, this can become a separate format of cooperation.

Have a question about an already operating facility?

If the playground is already open and you need to figure out a specific situation, write to us. Indicate the name or address of the object, describe the issue, and if possible, attach photos.

We will look at the materials, clarify whether the situation falls under the warranty period, and suggest a clear next step.
