We believe in child development through free play. Natural playgrounds are a natural developing environment for such games. In our spaces, there are no imposed decorations: children invent plots and roles themselves. We can give a hint with the help of a legend or a story, but we deliberately do not strive for a literal resemblance of objects.
The landscape is a full-fledged participant in the game. If there are plants to hide behind or take cover in, or hills to run around, then play scenarios become much more numerous. And even the surface matters: sand, wood chips, and gravel awaken fantasy, unlike rubber flooring.
Our playgrounds have many loose materials; games with them stimulate ingenuity, creativity, and imagination, satisfy the need for tactile sensations, and positively affect the emotional state of children. We involve psychologists in the creation of new playgrounds and observe the life of already built ones. Seeing what children like most and how they use the equipment, we perfect our play spaces.
The play objects we invent stimulate curiosity and a spirit of exploration, developing different facets of personality. We do not set a program of actions; the same task can be solved in different ways: climb up a log, climb ropes, descend from a support… The child makes decisions independently, which encourages independence and reasonable risk. And they also teach interaction with the non-standard and unconventional, being more flexible, and adapting to the multifaceted.
