Today, almost any team can create an architectural concept for a playground. You can select materials, find a contractor, manufacture structures, and assemble them on-site.
But between the idea and the opening of the playground, there is an important stage: it is necessary to ensure that the object can be safely operated and to confirm its compliance with applicable requirements.
In practice, difficulties are often discovered too late — when the project is already implemented, foundations are prepared, equipment is manufactured, structures are installed, and changing fundamental solutions without dismantling or serious rework is no longer possible. The reason is usually not in one single element. It lies in the fact that issues of safety, structures, surfaces, distances, movement routes, materials, and age scenarios were not embedded in the project from the very beginning.
The right question needs to be asked not after installation, but at the stage when the idea can still be refined without losing time, budget, or the architectural concept.
