History of the Bureau

Cheharda Bureau specializes in creating unique natural play spaces for children and adapting urban environments to the interests of children and families. Over the years, Cheharda Bureau has designed numerous complex play spaces in urban and country parks, residential courtyards, on private property, and along embankments. We have also implemented projects for children's clubs, kindergarten territories, and natural playgrounds.

In 2014, Darya Bychkova, founder of Cheharda Bureau, received a grant from the Aström Sverker Foundation (Sweden) and began studying natural playgrounds in Scandinavia. The experience gained largely determined the ideology of all our future work. Since its founding, Cheharda Bureau has actively advocated for the rights of urban children to harmonious development and play in the most natural environment possible, which best compensates for the lack of contact with nature.

Cheharda Bureau manages to create architecture of an absolutely new format from familiar basic materials. On our playgrounds, Cheharda transforms wood, stones, ropes, and other common natural materials into completely cosmic artistic images. A characteristic feature of Cheharda's playgrounds is the inclusion of large fragments of nature, such as trees with their main branches preserved.

Complex play structures are created without disrupting the integrity of the original natural components. This challenge is met using the latest computer technologies.
