Our spaces feature no prescriptive scenery: children invent their own plots and roles. We may offer a gentle prompt through a legend or a story, but we deliberately avoid literal representations in our structures.
The landscape is an equal partner in play. When there are plants to hide behind or take shelter in, and hills to run up and down, the possibilities for play scenarios multiply. Even the ground surface matters: sand, woodchips, and gravel spark the imagination in ways that rubber surfacing simply cannot.
Our playgrounds are rich in loose materials. Playing with them stimulates imagination, creativity, and invention, satisfies the need for tactile experiences, and positively impacts children's emotional well-being.
We involve child psychologists in the design of new playgrounds and closely observe the life of those already built. By seeing what children enjoy most and how they interact with the equipment, we continuously refine and improve our play spaces.
